Yes, but only in Narragansett and Charlestown so far.

Unknown, but possibly ballast water or aquaculture.


Reproduces both sexually and asexually.


The effects of P. yezoensis on local populations have not yet been established; therefore, it is unknown if it has the potential to outcompete native species.


There are no known control methods at this time.
